A good read over at Beyond the Box Score. There's a pretty insane graph if you follow the link above.

Going back to the whole cutter thing, I don't mind DD's philosophy. I'd much rather time be spent working on three pitches. I would take things on a case-by-case basis and only add the cutter to a pitcher's arsenal when it's an obvious need -- Chris Tillman for example.

IMO only if he fails in his first extended stay in the majors.

Wasn't he throwing a cutter in his appearances with the O's and they claimed it was a slider even though everyone said it was obviously a cutter?
