Trade Dino to mariners for Trayvon Robinson... Thoughts?

The writing was on the wall. It was going to be either Casilla or Andino. At least the team got something back for him.

It was pretty obvious the Andino was to be the odd-man out at 2b. The O's didn't keep Rule 5'er Flaherty on the roster all of 2012 just to turn around and cut him loose. The signing of Casilla earlier will infuse some new blood into the mix at 2b. I expect Quintanilla to be next out the door. That'll leave Roberts, Casilla, Flaherty, and Schoop to vie for the playing time at 2b. Don't know much about Trayvon Robinson. DD and his scouts must see something they like about him.

I agree with that,but he may get into the mix before the 2013 season is over.

Thoughts on the situation.
1.) He wasn't really my favorite.
2.) At least we got something out of the odd man out.
3.) A Breaking Down New Orioles for Trayvon Robinson would be great.
4.) Getting something out of Quintanilla too would be great.
5.) Can Casilla go down to the minors?

I thought he might be a possible solution if Roberts broke down in July or later.

I like Roch Kubatko, but he's also essentially an employee of the team through MASN.

Everything you say is true, but Roch has always maintained his journalistic integrity. In his most recent story he just published what Roberts told him. Last year he published a COMPLETELY different take on Roberts' recovery, so I tend to give this story some credence.
