Gave out points to multiple people today, some very fine statements made recently!

I was going through thezeroes link to the minor league free agents and found a couple that might be worth trying to sign. Any thoughts from the rest of you?

Anthony Contreras-looks like a fine utility player capable of handling the middle infield or even in a bind the OF.

Tyler LaTorre-Back up Catcher, but just one injury and we are all saying "Oh Crap!"

In the end it's just another avenue to pour over and over. The goal of having ML players ready to go is first priority. Though you also want your AAA affiliate playing at a very high level. For too long there has been a chasm between Bowie and OPACY.

LaTorre, just from the stats, look like he would add solid depth. Would like to know about his defense.

There is were spending 2M on an over sized scouting department can save you a 12M disaster of a Kevin Gregg contract because you found a comparable player as a minor league free agent.
