I'm ALWAYS happy to see the team add solid prospects, particularly when it only costs money.

Well a few factors here as I see it.

1-International Cap to be considered.
2-Who else is on the International horizon? Seems to me your all in or your not as that limit is not that high.
3-Lot of innings on that young man's arm. Still a lefty and only 25 years old. Though it must be a consideration.
4-Is he a back end starter or lefty for the sixth/seventh inning?

He's really the only enticing foreign market player, so the International Cap doesn't factor as much. The only concerns for me would be 1- Having to deal with Bore-A$$ as his agent, and 2- The Korean leagues are not nearly as good as the Japanese so he hasn't faced top competition.

Having said that, he's burly and durable. He's a lefty. He has a 4 pitch mix with decent command. He will certainly be given a shot as a starter. There will likely be a posting war with the Cubs, Rangers, and others in the mix.

Dead issue it seems. That is a large amount of money just to negotiate with. I won't root against the Dodgers because of this. Though I have to wonder if that innings count on Ryu will come back to haunt them.
