Brandon Cooney is about as intimidating of a presence as you'll ever see on the mound, standing 6' 6" and weighing in at 260 pounds. He was originally drafted as a starter but the Orioles shifted him to the bullpen due to a tired arm wanting to see how his power stuff played in relief. He immediately thrived after the switch to the 'pen and has been pretty dominant ever since.

Simply country strong good ol' boy.

He throws a heavy ball, but sometimes it still sits in the power zone and will be a test against the tougher lineups in the AL East. He size and drive to the plate is the reason batters cannot square up to his pitches because he does a great job not tipping his hand until the last second.

It is tough for guys over 6'4" to established repeatable actions. He is not perfect, but does a better job than most his size. I think he could fit into the plans as a late season call up, if Norfolk poses little issues to him.
