All well deserved although Jones may have earned his more by reputation than performance this year.

Mark me down as a bit of a cynic, but if we hadn't gone to the playoffs this year I'm not sure all three of these guys would have won. Baseball has rediscovered the Orioles.

Good for all three of them. Happy to see the O's in the spotlight.

However, the only one that should have won was Wieters. Hardy is a great defensive player but he is not better than Brendan Ryan. Adam Jones was lucky to be a finalist and it really is laughable that he won the award over Mike Trout. Unfortunately, these awards take into account team success and hitting even though it is supposed to be strictly a defensive award (well, I guess fortunately for us O's fans).

I totally agree but last year JJ was jobbed by Jeter. Life has a way of evening itself out doesn't it??
