Projections are mostly a "crapshoot" at best IMO.

I posted about this before the season. I have found that they can be reasonably accurate when the player has a four or five year record to work with, but projections for a young pitcher can be a "crapshoot" because once pitchers "get it" they generally improve at a very rapid pace.

I am curious though, does Bill James have any projections that were dead on the money among the well known players around the league?
