2012 Orioles Appreciation Thread

Post your favorite memories from the 2012 season.

We're all feeling down but this is a team with games and stories that cannot be forgotten.

The Orioles will be back next year.

Also, it honestly feels better to sit here in disappointment as opposed to usual where we've been watching the other teams for a week already.

My favorite memory was going to the first game of the ALDS. Good season but the fact they should have won this series really hurts.

That's awesome. Wish I could have made it to one of the games.

"What if Johnson didn't blow that save?" It's going to be in all of our minds. Tough to look past it.

"What if Jones didn't fall flat on his face?" will be right next to it.

Thankyou Orioles! This is my first winning season and first playoff season. Every year, it wasn't a question of how good they were going to be. It was "they're going to be bad." This magical team has changed my mindset forever. I'am not that upset. We had a great year, more than I ever could have asked for. Seeing Camden Yards full and alive is the greatest Birthday present any kid can ask for. And hey, A-Rod still didn't take enough roids to play in the biggest game of the year.

Favorite recurring moment : Me asking myself again and again, "How in the heck are they still winning?"

This team shattered expectations and kept me interested all year. I really hope that the players are not bummed out about the season ending. They should be proud to have restored some faith in the fan base.

Agreed, but I hope the core hitters look at video from this series and learn from their mistakes.

Attending game 1 was my favorite too, even though they lost. Atmosphere was electric and the sea of orange towels was surreal.
