The main reasons we are here are the main reasons we are down.

Jones has looked awful at the plate and took a horrible route on a ball that cost the Orioles a run last night.
Wieters has looked awful at the plate and for some reason called for a fastball to be pitched to Ibanez in the 11th.
Johnson looked horrible in game 1, great in game 2, and blew the game in game 3. I know he only made one bad pitch in game 3 but as a closer sometimes that's all it takes.
Buck has been outmanaged by Girardi.
JJ Hardy has looked shaky at SS and horrible at the plate.

Oddly enough, the weakest link throughout the regular season was the starting pitching and they have been dominant so far.

The good news is that it's not too late to turn it around. They have outplayed the Yankees for the most part and should at the very least be up 2-1 if not 3-0 and waiting to face Detroit or Oakland.

Im interested in reason why you think Buck has been "out managed"?

Girardi hasn't made a bad move yet.

He really hasn't had to do too much on the pitching side but I guess the moves you don't make (like taking out SP's) is also valuable.

Buck, O'Day, McLouth, and Machado all came through huge last night to force game 5.

What a pathetic display by the offense. The inability to do anything other than strike out, ground into a double play, or hit a HR finally came back to haunt them.
