ALDS Game 5: Orioles @ Yankees (2-2)

ALDS Game 5: Orioles @ Yankees (2-2)

PostPost #1 by Jordan Tuwiner » October 11th, 2012, 11:14 pm

Let's make this game thread EPIC.

Jason Hammel vs. CC Sabathia and the winner moves on.

It just doesn't get much better than this.

I'll bet that a lot of players in the Yankees' clubhouse are saying "WHO the h@ll ARE these guys?"

I doubt that. These two teams have been even the entire season.

I hope Tillman is ready. He may be needed early. Hammel hasn't been nearly as good on normal rest as he was with an extra day or two. Plus, you never know when that knee is going to start barking.

Much better at-bat from Jones but still couldn't stay away from that low and away pitch. At least it wasn't a breaking ball.

Hammel is looking sharp early. Good command.

God, that was such a horrible decision to not hold Teixeira. Even the Yankees have held Wieters when he has gotten on.

Man, thought that nicked the pole. An inch to the left and it's a tie game.

Sure looked like it nicked the pole. Unbelievable.

This one is over they aren't scoring 2 runs.
