- Miguel Gonzalez has allowed 12 home runs this year; 11 of which have been solo shots.
- Miguel Gonzalez in August: 3-1, 1.91 ERA (33.0IP, 7ER). His August ERA was 3rd in AL behind Felix Hernandez & Bartolo Colon.
- Miguel Gonzalez has allowed just four home runs in his last 10 starts after giving up nine in his first five starts.

Gonzalez was spectacular. Biggest game of his life against the Yankees in their bandbox of a stadium and he absolutely shut them down.

I have to admit that i under estimated him. He REALLY looks like a big game pitcher.

Great performance last night. Bodes well for 2013. If we can add one more quality starter this offseason I like our chances to win the AL East next year 8-)
