Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days; even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at our side of the field; even if every man woman and child held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't matter because all the really good looking girls would still go out with the guys from Mohawk because they've got all the money! It just doesn't matter if we win or we lose. IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!

No matter WHAT happens in Texas tonight we can all be PROUD of our team this year. They played FAR beyond our expectations, and probably their own. They have proven they are a team to contend with and have built a foundation to improve on next year. So what if the season ends tonight, it just doesn't matter.

I'd be extremely dissapointed if we only play one playoff game. But this season has been a very enjoyable miracle.

Having seen so many exciting games this year it would be a shame to only play 1 more especially if it turns out to be a blowout loss. Whatever happens, I just want them at the very least to go down fighting like they have done all year.

Of course, beating NY would be like winning the series since I could live off of bragging for 5 months.

And winning the World Series with a negative run differential would be some sweet tasting cake.
