Is Anyone Else Worried About The Toronto Series?

Is Anyone Else Worried About The Toronto Series?

PostPost #1 by ofahn » September 24th, 2012, 12:27 pm

After a long and successful nine road trip the Orioles return home today to play a four game series against the Blue Jays, starting with a double header this afternoon. This series worries me. Why? The Blue jays have been HORRIBLE over the last two weeks and look like they have quit on the season, but they still have a lot of talent on that team and some solid veterans. If they decide to actually play to their abilities they can be very dangerous and it's never easy to win both ends of a DH.

Let's just hope the Jays remain comatose until this weekend when they play the Yankees.

To be honest, not really.

I'm not really worried about this club anymore. They have proven time after time this season that they can prevail under any situation.
Showalter is not going to allow the O's to relax at any time. It's just not how this season has gone.

I agree with all of this. Plus, Toronto's starters for today aren't the greatest. I like the matchups.

Frankly, I was more confident about sweeping in Boston than I am about just winning this series. It has nothing to do with our team, I'm just concerned that at some point the Jays will be embarrassed about playing like an Independent League team and decide to actually show up at 7:05 PM. I just hope they do that four games from now.

Just look for that straight fastball or slider that doesn't slide Matt 8-)
