When Did You Just KNOW That This Season Would Be Different?

There were so many big games for the Orioles this year but there was one game where I just KNEW that year was going to be so different. I KNEW we we had a special group of players, and I KNEW we were going to have a winning season, and I BELIEVED we might make the playoffs.

I don't want to share my choice yet, but I don't think I will be the only one to choose it. What's yours, and why?

Probably when Chris Davis won a game as a pitcher.

Not a specific game, but probably the 5 game winning streak in July after we had started out the second half 1-4. I had a feeling then.

When the starting 5 in the rotation at the season's start was like playing "Where's Waldo" and the team kept on winning.

No, but it would have been another good choice. We blew a big lead to the Yankees and then came back in the bottom of the inning to blow them away. Great win.

Several high points:
-- Beating Boston in 17.
-- Coming back from 5 down to beat the Yankees.
-- Beating Tampa a day after we were embarrassed at home.
-- Going 3-3 in Detroit and Texas
-- Beating Oakland last Sunday.
-- Sweeping Seattle

Lots of things, but when they started winning games even after Markakis got hurt. Just seemed as if nothing would stop them.

I've been looking forward to your take on this. For me, when we beat Boston with CHRIS DAVIS PITCHING two shut down innings for the win I just KNEW that this year was going to be different; however, I didn't expect we would be this good even then.
