Orioles Schedule vs. Yankees Schedule

Orioles Schedule: @ Seattle 3, @ Boston 3, Toronto 4, Boston 3, @ Tampa 3

Yankees Schedule: Toronto 3, Oakland 3, @ Minnesota 3, @ Toronto 4, Boston 3

I'd say the schedules are pretty similar. The O's may have it a bit easier but either way it's going to be a tight finish.

Those last three against Tampa are NOT going to be a picnic for us. I'd rather have NY's schedule.

It's nice because they have the worst 25 man out of the remaining contenders. I wouldn't trade schedules with any of the remaining contenders.

I agree. That will be a tough way to end the year. But on the bright side, it also makes this club have to force their way up until the end.

I'd say we have it worse. The Rays were in a similar life and death situation last year and they prevailed. Having that experience is an edge for the Rays. Additionally I am a believer that starting pitching will be the difference. While Buck has gotten the most out of our starters I think most of us would agree that the Rays have the edge in starting pitching. The Orioles have an edge in the bullpen and we have a more potent offense. The Rays like the Orioles have had defensive troubles this year, however I give the Orioles the edge defensively since the addition of McClouth and Machado..... The Yankees will have an easy go of it against a hapless Redsox team.... Advantage Yankees
I think the division will come down to the last series....The wild card road is a much tougher one.

I've sat in Yankee stadium during a playoff game openly rooting for the A's but for this series I will be an even bigger A's fan. Sweep em up Athletics!

Jays have essentially packed it in for the season it seems. A sweep of them for them is easily attainable if they play how they have this past month.
