I am heading up to Frederick to catch Tim Berry.

Manuel Hernandez promoted from GCL to Aberdeen

I wasn't going to even judge him really until Frederick. He was already playing above the level of NYPL in college.
Now the true test starts and we can get a better idea of what the Orioles have with Boss.

If he can show he belongs there he'll return to Frederick at age 22 next year as a legitimate prospect.

Well to be fair, this season is almost over so probably can't judge his play there this year (playing well never hurts though!).
But correct, he will definitely start at Frederick next season.

He should get between 50 and 60 ABs (not including the post season) and that should provide some early indications as to whether he's ready for A+ ball.

I like the idea of challenging players in a stretch run and playoffs. The better ones seem to rise to the occasion (see Machado, Manny).

Indeed they do. Either way, it's a good idea to move him up to Frederick. I said about a month ago they should just move him up there. (along with Christian Walker before he was injured). Of course, I'm going to Aberdeen tomorrow so I'll miss Boss now LOL. But I was going for Branden Kline anyways (and hopefully Josh Hader )

Other than Bridwell's (RH) better FB, he and Tim Berry (LH) remind me of each other. There about the same age, have GREAT potential, and need to develop consistent command. These guys have something extra in the raw talent department and could move quickly once they start throwing strike one.

Not sure who's scheduled after Rutledge tonight for Aberdeen but tomorrow you may also see Coffey or Parry. They have kept Parry on a pretty regular 4-Day rest schedule, and he pitched last Friday, so if Coffey comes in tonight then I would guess Parry tomorrow. Did you hear when Hader was going to make his debut?

I've seen Parry and Coffey now.
Have no clue on Hader, just assuming he should pitch one of the next two nights since it's been a while for him.
Kline and Rutledge will only be going 3 innings at most I assume.

Jordan, Don and I have all liked him.

Jordan probably leads the pack, but Tim is a legitimate talent.
I'm excited to see him next season with these new refinements. Seems like he is one of the pitchers in the system whom has made the biggest stride this year.
