Not overly optimistic about Zach's return. He's been pretty inconsistent at AAA and I think that's probably what we can expect up here.

Hopefully he learned last night that most of this Detroit lineup is underwelming this season and you can't let the two big boys beat you.

Is back but doesn't deserve to be. Britton's season is turning into exactly what Matusz's 2011 was.

He's been alright so far, he's gotten out of jams. Although I'd prefer him to prevent getting into jams in the first place but I'll take it.

Britton was definitely the beneficiary of some timely GIDPs, but he's a GB pitcher, so that's always going to need to be part of his game. All in all, I was very impressed and a little surprised by the performance he gave. I still expect to see plenty of inconsistency overall, but really nice step in the right direction for Zach. A good outing against a good team. Hopefully he can build on it in his next start!
