Off subject, but isn't nice to be able to get these guys onto a roster and see what they have THIS year instead of the old signing system? Last year the ink was just drying on the contracts.

Last 10 games: .400/.438/.422 with 1 BB and 2 K.

Ryan Adams went 3-4 today

Last 10 games: .371/.450/.571 with a HR, 5 BB, 10 K

I think Adams still has a spot in the big leagues, although he is clearly behind Omar Quintanilla and Robert Andino, and even Ryan Flaherty due to his Rule 5 status.
In all reality it's probably with another team.

I wonder if Ryan Adams has made all of the effort to be a MLer as he could have. He's known for at least two years that team has some serious concerns about his glove yet I don't know (think) he's spent much time in the winter working on it. Sometimes, you just wonder.

I think it's probably a case where both parties are best moving on.

big night for Roderick Bernadina going 4-4 with a HR. When he gets pitches to hit, he can take your breath away. His bat speed is lightning.

Brenden Webb with his typical line. 1-4 with a Double, BB and 3 K's. He's been very good since his promotion.

Branden Kline went 3 innings in his debut with 4 H, 3 R, 5 K, 1 BB allowed. Just getting his feet wet really, but I like to see that he was missing bats. Al Skorupa of Bullpen Banter was at the game, so I am curious to see what he says.

I was at the Keys game for the first three innings. Tyler Wilson had a short outing. He was leaving his fastball up and the ump wasn't helping him with what was already spotty command.

He was throwing some sort of cut fastball that he actually commanded pretty well.

I spoke with Tim Berry about his outing last night where he struck out 11 batters. He said just everything was working for him, especially his curveball.

I also spoke with Devin Jones and he said his two-seamer has been the key to his success this season.

Heard that 2S has been a HUGE improvement this season. Awesome news. No wonder he has been able to move into the rotation. He's probably one of my favorite stories this season.

He already has solid gap power I think. I know this will sound funny, but he is so much alike his cousin. So when you think of his ceiling, think of Roger. Not saying they become the exact same player, but it's a good benchmark. Roderick is a ways away from there though.
