The Royals are going to feel like they have been Mannyhandled when this series is over.

Seriously, how long is it gonna take for Buck to move Hardy out of the 2-hole. A .273 OBP should barely be a in major league lineup, and then he's batting second. How about we stop playing Hardy for the player he was last year and start playing him for the player he is now. IMO, if he was the player he was last year, he still should have been hitting like 6th. Keep his defense and homeruns in the lineup...BUT BAT HIM EIGHTH. He has the lowest OBP for a qualified player that is in the majors right now. If you are hitting at the top of the lineup, you need to get on base.

If you were Buck for a day who would bat second?

Second time through the line up and Tommy Hunter is back to his old habits. Strike one, strike two, nibble, nibble, nibble................. Watch the pitch count soar.

Betemit. He doesn't get on base alot either but he's at .327 and Hardy's at .273. Thats .054 points right?

Why not bat Manny second? He's obviously hot so play the hot hand. If he starts to struggle you put him back at the bottom of the lineup.

I was thinking the same thing, but I have my doubts as to whether Buck will do that.
