Over his past 10 starts Rodriguez has put up two 6 inning shut outs, a 5 inning shut out, and a 5 inning one run game. He hopes to put up another great performance at home to back his last home outing which was a 5 inning, 2 hit game which yielded 2 unearned runs, and holding batters to a .158 average at the plate. Over his last 6 games he's given up 5 or more hits in 5 of those games which is something he needs to keep down. He'll be looking for his 3rd win in a row after hopefully forgetting about the month of June and beginning of July which didn't fair very well for him. In which he posted 2 solid starts while going 1-4 with a no decision.

Tonights updates wont be as detailed as before im actually in Yonkers, NY racing horses, but ill be updating between innings wont have the pitch count that will be about the only difference. I would love to go to more Shorebird games don't have the money for it. I live about 40 min from the stadium. I've been to all the minor league stadiums this season but Aberdeen plan on going on the 1st of September. I've been to about 6 O's games this year so far been to all the legends dates. If I had the money ild be down to Delmarva every night I didn't have to work, alot of the time I listen to their radio feed and take my notes. I started this thinking people would like to be able to read up on the birds on the farm on a more detailed level.

Eduardo started the game off with a K, followed up by a double. He then proceeded to get Dugan to fly out moving the runner to third. Carmona came up to ground out for the last out. Delmarva goes in order in the 1st on to the second 0-0.

Not a very good second inning lead off with two straight walks. With the next batter up Edurado balks the runners over. Ludy comes up with a ground out to bring in first run andout of the inning. With the former bird Lino up another bulk the second of the inning brings in second run. Lino and Malcom finish out the inning with a pop out and ground out. So its 2-0 Lakewood after two walks and two balks not the way to start the game out.

Edurado comes back like a new pitcher in the third with 2 K's and a ground out very efficient and very effective. Much better inning still 2-0.

After a shakey second Edurado has come back strong with another 3 up 3 down inning. All outs coming by way of pop out, still looking for the hot Delmarva offense to heat up and bring in the run support.

Eduardo ended his day in the fifth with a pop out ground out and ending his performance with a K. Baring 2 walks and 2 balks he pitched a pretty flawless game. His final line for the game is 5 IP 1 H 2 BB 4 K 2 ER.

David Baker replaces Eduardo and compliments him with a ground out, pop out, walk, and a force out. On to the 7th Delmarva still looking for runs.

Franco leads off 7th with a double off Baker. Next batter up grounds out then Baker gets a K but Davis allows a pass ball letting the runner to 1st, but not allowing a run to come in. He then finishes the inning with a short pop out and a K to end the inning. Still looking for runs from Delmarva.

Baker has been replace by Gene Escat in the 8th. Bakers final line 2 IP 1H 1BB 2K. Not a bad performance bullpen doing a good job for the birds still no offensive production.

Escat starts the inning off with a swinging strike K followed by a BB. Dugan follows up with a line drive double to left moving the runner to 3rd. Next batter up grounds out but the 3rd run of the day crosses the plate. Franco flys out to center to end the inning for Lakewood birds down 3-0. Delmarva goes down quiet again in order to end the inning.

Lakewood blows it open in the 9th. Escat starts the inning off giving up a single followed by a walk. With Lino up to bat Escat throws a wild pitch moving the runners over leading to a walk by Lino. Malcom reaches on a fielders choice scoring Pointer, followed up by a Gonzalez single scoring Ludy and moving Lino to 3rd. Ryan Palsha replaces Escot who was not effective at all tonight.

Final line Escot 1.0 IP 3 H 5 ER 2 BB 1 K.

Palsha's first batter grounds out scoring Lino, then a popfly brings in Malcom. He then gets Carmona to ground out ending the bleeding.

Final line Palsha 1.0 IP and 0 across the board.
