Alfredo Simon is being accused of murdering one man and wounding another in the Dominican Rebuplic during New Years Eve. Two Orioles dominican contacts, one being Felipe Alou Jr., have told the associated press that Simon was not involved. The Santo Domingo based Dominican News has reported that Simon had shot a gun into the sky to break up a fight and the rest is hazy without explination, if it happened at that time or later in the evening.
