I think he deserves it regardless of tonight's performance.
If Seattle keeps swinging the bat like that, he might throw a perfect game tonight!

Out of the 5 up for vote, Hammel and Peavy are most deserving. Too close to call for me.

Those radar gun readings are running hot by about 3 mph, or Iwakuma is running off pure adrenaline.

Iwakuma has a nice blend of pitches and plus command, but that second time through the order should allow the hitters to pick up timing. It will be something to watch as the game progresses.

I am shocked that all teams do not force feed off speed low/away with Chris Davis.

Well at least we won't have a perfect game thrown at us.

Reynolds is just not picking the ball up well at all, that was his wheel house.

ugh. He is the most frustrating player in the world to watch.
I'll be cheering when he slams the next dinger, but boy is it tough.

Reynolds is leaking a bit early, getting the hips out a bit quick and dragging the back end ever so slightly.

One thing I have never liked was the degree that he changes his eye level in his swing. This is something that will never shake out of his game, why contact will always be an issue.

Mariners are in a similar boat as the Orioles. I know both must be aggressive on the paths because of the silent bats, but you cannot take yourself out of an inning so early in a game without certainty you can deliver.

And they dare run on Matthew Wieters!

It is kinda of sad to see only one Orioles hitter batting over .280, even with Betemit recent streak he is sitting .270...

Reynolds is not part of our future. I would have given his roster spot to Avery; however, I'm not sure that the FO could get that past ownership.

Iwakuma is sneak with his methodical approach, but getting caught with too much off-speed in the zone with sub-par movement. The Orioles have no read on him, but they should be able to expose him. I just see to many hanging sliders that need to be taught a lesson.

You'd think that with the power they have in the lineup they would be able to knock a few out.

Also that was the worst "hit" I've ever seen by Figgins
