Not how we wanted to start the game...Izturis' error is another reason he should not be here next season. He's here for defense and, well, he hasn't been very good on D this year.

Cabrera's too good. Can't even begin to think how good he's going to be in 2-3 years.

Adam Jones still can't hit breaking pitches down in the zone. I don't think he's made any progress this season, at the plate or in the field.

Let's hope he has another series like he did when Wieters debuted!

Is Millwood's fastball always 87-89 mph? I thought it normally sat 89-92...

You're probably right. I'd look into JJ Hardy for next season, who's the only good SS on the market.

Average FB this season has been 87 mph, so he's been sitting 86-88 for most of the year.

Austin Jackson has some serious range. Almost dropped the ball, too.

Jim Hunter brings up a good question:

Will the Orioles resign Wigginton? The only reason I'd keep him is because he can play so many positions (like Hunter said), but I'd give Brandon Snyder a shot and see what he can do.

The thing is, I'm not sure Bell is ready to start at third next season. I'd give Brandon Snyder the first base job to open the season and bring back Wigginton on a one year deal to start at third.

Bell has 45 strikeouts and 2 walks -- that is not a major league ready player. If I'm the Orioles, he is not in Baltimore to open 2011.

Well, he got it! His curveball is looking pretty good thus far.

No doubt about that one. Fox was all over that pitch.
