Chris Capuano (two years, $10 million)
Mark Ellis (two years, $8.75 million)
Juan Rivera (one year, $4.5 million)
Jerry Hairston ( two year, $6 million)
Aaron Harang (two years, $12 million)
Am I missing something here, or have they taken over as the newest Orioles franchise?
Literally all of those players are either stopgaps or players that you sign to complement a team that is already contending.
The Dodgers are not contending, and while you could argue that Harang and Capuano are solid stopgaps, the money they handed out on all these players is baffling.
