What are the Diamondbacks thinking?

What are the Diamondbacks thinking?

PostPost #1 by osforlife » December 23rd, 2012, 7:11 pm

The Diamondbacks had Justin Upton, Gerardo Parra, Aj Pollock, Adam Eaton, Jason Kubel, and even Eric Hinske in their outfield. Why did they sign Ross to complicate things? Plus, Cody Ross isn't even a good player. He strikes out alot, doesn't play good defense, doesn't get on base well, doesn't hit RHP well, and didn't even hit well away from Fenway last year.

If they've got a plan they're doing a good job of hiding it from everyone.

With Justin Upton out of the picture, the Diamondbacks still have a logjam in the outfield. If they could un-sign Cody Ross, then everything would make sense. Kevin Towers is an odd & creative GM. Eaton, Pollock, and Parra should all be getting regular playing time.
