What is crazy to me is that the Orioles did not retaliate.... the Yankees took out our hottest bat in the middle of a playoffs run. I would have drilled one of their star players in the ear hole just to let them know we won't be pushed around. I have no problem with the current set of rules. This is one of the oldest baseball traditions. There are a number of bone head things that will get a player drilled. Bottom line, play clean baseball and you don't have anything to worry about. Slide into second late cleats high and I guaranty you will get drilled. See my point.
