Brandon Erbe had successful labrum tear surgery and is currently in rehabilitation. I would not expect to see him throwing a baseball off a mound until maybe late fall. He should be ready by spring training of 2012.

Matt Hobgood is still in Sarasota in the tail end of the throwing program to build up the arm. He is expected to be assigned an affiliate, maybe Delmarva or Aberdeen at first somewhere in 3-5 weeks, more likely 5.
