Jarret Martin now part of Shorebirds' rotation

Jarret Martin now part of Shorebirds' rotation

PostPost #1 by Jordan Tuwiner » May 20th, 2011, 11:20 pm

Delmarva's Jarret Martin, who has spent all of 2011 in the Shorebirds' bullpen, has been moved back into the rotation after spending all of 2010 in Bluefield's rotation.

Martin's showing much improved control and command, with only 8 walks in 23 innings after giving up 46 free passes in 59.2 innings last season.

I hope he is replacing Tim Adleman. 56H in 39IP and an ERA of 6.64 time to move to the pen. Outside of Martin, Gurka and Schrader, the pitching on the Shore has been suspect at best.

Time for a call to FL....bring on Randy Henry!! BTW I was told Monday tha

Welll this experiment didn't go too well to say the least. Martin starts with Adleman following. Combined they go 4 2/3 giving up 16ER on 16 hits and 6 walks.

I find myself praying for the quick return of Matt Hobgood.

Excuse me if it was an way game, but if it was home how did MArtin look different from when he was coming out of the pen?

Is Schrader a reliever all the way or could he be turned into a starter?
