I din't get a chance to see Mike pitch this season, but based on the stats, no arguement here. My vote would have gone to Fowler. From May 2nd to July 2nd he made 11 appearances across 22 IP and didn't allow a single ER and recording 26K's. Additionally Fowler became one of those players impacted greatly by the turmoil at the top as he went from Delmarva to Norfolk, back to Delmarva, to Frederick, back to Norfolk, to Frederick, and Norfolk again followed by one last trip to Delmarva before finishing up at Frederick. For these kids who go from one lousy hotel to another then back home to sleep on an air mattress in the living room of the apartment they share with 3 other guys and then grab a few hours sleep on the 9 hour bus ride, I cannot imagine he knew where he was most of the time.
