8/31/12 Minor League Gameday Thread

Today's starters:
Norfolk: Zach Clark
Bowie: Jacob Pettit
Frederick: Devin Jones
Delmarva: Miguel Chalas
Aberdeen: Brady Wager

Bowie clinched a playoff spot yesterday.
This could very well be the last start of the year for Jones, Wager, and Chalas.

Let's see how they set up Bowie's pitching staff for the playoffs. It wouldn't surprise me if Jones is considered for it.

Roster Moves Today:

OF Xavier Avery, INF Steve Tolleson, C Luis Exposito are all up with Baltimore. Not officially moved yet.
INF Sammie Starr promoted to Norfolk.
C Steel Russell promoted to Delmarva.
INF Aaron Baker activated on rehab assignment to Aberdeen.

How great a name is Steel Russell? Next season on Delmarva with him Lucas (Luke) Herbst and Sebastian Vader?

If nothing else it will be the all name team.
