INF Alexander Mercedes was called up from the DSL Orioles to the GCL for the last little stretch they have. He's 20 years old already which is a little old.

Hector Veloz has been swinging a hot bat recently. I hope he gets pushed to Delmarva to start the season next year. If not, I'll enjoy watching him at Aberdeen (when he makes contact!)

Back on July 5th you wrote that Pat Egan intrigued you, you further state that you would like to see him in AAA.
Although he pitched just one inning last night and only tossed 9 pitches, 7 of the pitches were strikes. I think it is fair to say this trip to Norfolk is different from his past two. I would like to have seen him pitch another inning or two.
