8/17/12 Minor League Gameday Thread

Today's starters:
Norfolk: Jake Arrieta
Bowie: Mike Wright
Frederick: Trent Howard
Delmarva: Juan Guzman
Aberdeen: David Richardson

I am going to try VERY hard to get down for Guzman tonight. Can't leave my house till 3 though....so not sure how much luck I'll have getting there in time (If I even decide it is worth it)

Tyler Townsend lands on the DL again. As I say, Staying healthy is a skill...

Hector Veloz with 3 hits in the GCL today.
Adrian Marin seems to have at least one hit every day too.

Take it you never made it to the game. Didn't miss much, and I must say I have not seen much of Guzman in his couple outings here (2 from the pen and the start last night). Control is not there, and really looks overmatched.

Its late in the season so my tolerance is probably lower right now watching a team nightly that is 48-75.

yea had to be up at 3:30 AM so figured it was better off just staying home and getting some rest!
Guzman has a lot to work on still, I am glad they pushed him to Delmarva though. Should start there next year.
