I've seen him pitch a bunch of times. He's a small figured guy who is more finesse than anything. Think he tops out at 92. He's an older guy at 29 years old.

How do you balance that with the high pitch counts that come from Ks?
Would you rather have a pitcher with a high K ratio that normally gives you six innings and out, or a pitcher with a high ground ball ratio that can normally pitch into the Eighth?

well I did say "one" thing I look for haha.
It truly is important to be able to balance it out. Tillman was a good example from his time in Norfolk earlier this season. He was striking out 8-10 batters per 5-6 innings but the pitch count would be 100. It's important to make good pitches that hitters will chase on too. It's why people love 2S fastball's because hitters often knock them into the ground or K on them.

I know in Jordan's interview with him he said that he primarily was working on his change up this season. Wonder how many of these K's are on the change?
Regardless, One of the main things I look for in a pitcher is that they can miss bats.
