Have they tried him at third base? I know his bat wouldn't project well there but if he could be at least average defensively he would be a welcomed addition to the team.

I doubt it. He really has more of a OF mold. I've seen him play second and let's just say he looks nothing of an infielder.
Honestly, the Orioles 3B Depth might be the worst in baseball.

They have literally nobody that can truly play the position well all-around.
A few guys can work the glove there, but are so far away from the majors (Torsten Boss, Supposedly Jason Esposito)
They have Hector Veloz who is light-years away from the bigs, as he still is playing in the GCL at his young age.
Then guys such as Delmonico, Narron have moved off the position already.

he might be the one who COULD play 3B well all around. If they decided to ever move him there. But i'd keep him at 2B for now honestly.

Schoop is starting to break through this season. He's still so young, it's quite enjoyable to see.

Scouts have always said he could play 3B but his bat just wasn't enough for the position.

Maybe. But he still doesn't have the power you look for in a 3B.

No question, but neither does Headley. He's 22 and beginning to profile as a "Carl Crawford" type hitter. Add 10 pounds of muscle and some maturation as a hitter and might turn enough of those 2Bs into HRs.

I dunno, don't really see that. I think his growth is primarily finished although he could possibly tack on a little. I don't think it would change the outcome of his game very much though.

Why do you feel that way? As you said he's only 22, was very raw when we drafted him, and is finally learning how to use the talents he was born with. I would think there would still be room for growth.
