I'm a fan of Prado. He's a good player who was hurt last year which explains the drop in his numbers. I like his versatility too. It really depends who we give up for him or if we trade Jones who else we get back.

I think that Prado is a good player, but we would have to get a lot more than just him if we trade Jones. As I have said before we should get the market value of Jones if trading him rather than our perceived value. One place I see him being extremely useful is at 2b if Roberts can't come back for the beginning of the season.

Buck wants to win this season, Buck thinks he can win this season, Buck wants players he thinks he can win with this season, Buck probably looks at Prado as a "nugget". Right or wrong I'd say those are the reasons they are pursuing him.

Right or wrong, it seems like we have more than a passing interest in Prado... so I see something potentially happening soon. I don't think it's going to cost that much to get him. Maybe Robert Andino or a grade B prospect

If the Braves are willing to trade Prado for Andino you have to wonder what scares them about Prado.

Where do you see this? Are you assuming that because his name came up in the Jones discussion that we're interested? Can you please provide a link to any of this?
