It's possible but I think it might be a mistake. Hoes was never very comfortable there and he may be able to adjust to LF faster (one year) than he could become only competent at 2B (two years).

Why?

I don't see Roberts starting the season on the active 25 man. He played well enough last season to earn it. I also think that Buck really likes him so he has that going for him too.

Personally I like to see Ryan Adams get a legit shot but Buck loves Andino and he's your man IMHO if Roberts retires, goes DL or is traded. Just my two cents

third this. in my mind he's ready. defense has improved every year. antonelli and andino can be utility guys. tollenson can play short at norfolk and b. davis can play second. work out a trade to keep flaherty.

I agree with everything you said but I'm a bit skeptical that we will be able to work out a trade for Flaherty. The Cubs system is empty and I can see them really wanting him back.

good point. hopefully, somebody goes down and Flaherty gets put on the projected roster cause I have a really good gut feeling about this guy...or at least a really good gut feeling about this guy's stats.
