I was bored tonight so I decided to check out some team statistics:

-The Orioles were 4th in HR with 191 in 2011. Their pitching staff gave up 210 HR. Let that sink in.
-The Rays had the lowest OBP of all playoff teams at .322. That ranked 13th. The Orioles had an OBP of .316, ranking 19th.
-The Orioles ranked 28th in IBB with only 24.
-The Orioles were 5th in SB% at 76%. However, they only had 81 SB, which ranked 25th. Very conservative under Buck it seems.
-Robert Andino led the Orioles with 13/16 SB. I honestly don't even think of him as a SB guy either.

I WISH we could just blame it on Vlady. Problem solved and we can all go home! The reality is that too many of our hitters think they're Austin Powers*.
