Speaking for myself it would be a short trip.
At 6/150-160 I could understand the signing because it would generate around its annual value in ticket sales for at least the first two years, but I don't see Fielder signing here for that money unless we're the last team standing.
The Nationals might be his best choice because their team is young and improving. Of course, we could help that along by making a trade that would put them in the playoffs this year and make us a winner by 2104. I wonder if Angelos and Duquette both like THAT?

Allows Prince to get a better deal in 2014/2015 when still young.
Allows Prince to prove he can play in the AL East.
Allows the Orioles to build/improve the minors depth for two years.
May get the free agent pitchers (Oswalt,Jackson ..) a reason to want to sign a short term deal here.
