That was my feeling almost word for word. CAUTION - We are now heading into beaten dead horse territory! I also could not understand why they would keep Gregg over him other than the already wasted money in his contract.

You have to take the bad w/the good I guess. D. has made a lot of good moves, and they have outweighed the failed ones. The most recent is getting Omar Quintanilla who has been tremendous.

Simon was too inconsistent here. With Strop's development, he really became expendable. Just my two cents 8-)

I liked Simon but was never upset that he was let go. I'm glad he is doing good with the Reds.
