The Readiness of Jonathan Schoop

He earned the 25 man roster. But my question is: How many at bats will he get? He won't get better sitting on the bench. He needs exposure to improve.

I feel strongly that he's here to play. Anything else would make NO sense.

Agreed.
If you keep him on MLB roster, you gotta keep him in the lineup

Jonathan Schoop has been pretty bad. He's made 25% of the team's errors, and has a .670 OPS. He's probably not ready. We all can see his inferior pitch recognition on off-speed stuff. He'll be a special player someday. I will say, watching him square up on a fastball makes me grin ear to ear. The kid can turn on the heater.

I agree, but I've seen a steady improvement.
