From what I have been able to gather from the OH guys, his command has improved. So who knows? Hopefully he gets fully straightened out 8-)

NOW, we can legitimately say he's starting to get things straightened out. His last two appearances have been clean and drama free. Of course, they haven't been in stress situations so we'll have to see how his next one of those works out.

Strop needs to go. To much inconsistency from him. Doesn't seem to ever put 2-3 good outings together like early last year.

Pedro was placed on the 15 Game DL today. I have no idea what the injury is or whether there actually is one, but this is the possible situation for both parties. Strop absolutely needed to go back to the minors to straighten himself out and we were never going to sneak him through waivers. Now we can send him down for up to 30 days on a rehab assignment.

How lucky are we this happened. We couldn't keep putting him out there but I think Buck knows Strop is a great weapon when he is right. Lets hope he gets right and comes back to where he was last year the first 4 months.

He has 2 wks. on the DL and they can send him out for another extended stint on minor league rehab.Best possible happening. They need him and Johnson back. Get them back, add O'Day and you have the best back end of the pen in the immediate world.

Time to look at Arrieta in the role many think he belongs: eighth inning setup 8-)

How could Buck go with Strop today with the game on the line. Today's loss is squarely on Strop. He needs to go away. Norfolk released, doesn't really matter which. Just like I have said for the last few weeks, we need pitching now.

We're all scratching our heads here. Patton or Matusz would have been better options. Personaly I HAVE HAD IT WITH STROP!!

Yeah I think it is time for Strop to go; DFA or DL. It was a good trade/waiver claim by Andy Macphail. We got 97.1 innings of 2.87 ERA out of Strop, which is certainly better than he 7 innings Texas got out of Mike Gonzalez. If he parts way with the O's, somebody will pick him up. He's got an electric arm. I think we could be seeing Jairo Asencio or Jon Rauch very soon.
