This guy is an interesting case. He DESTROYS LH pitching and should probably have his GLOVE destroyed.

I would only offer him a one year deal. If he plays well enough he'll get more money from us or someone else next year.

I would not advocate a multi-year deal either. However, as Ofan said above his hitting against LHP is tempting. The fielding is another matter entirely. His total dWAR for his career is a ghastly -10.1

When I heard the Red Sox gave him 10 mil for 2 years I couldn't stop laughing
