In 39.3 innings out of the bullpen, Tommy Hunter, Brian Matusz, and Jake Arrieta have combined for 53 strikeouts and a 2.73 FIP.

It's amazing how much production the Orioles are getting from these three after they were all demoted this year.

Hopefully Hunter and Matusz stay in the pen next year and we sign a quality veteran starter in the offseason. The starting pitching must improve in 2013. Can't expect the bullpen to carry the load again like it did this year 8-)

Hunter has been the most impressive IMO. Matusz most people knew would be good as a LOOGY.

Just imagine what those numbers would be if we could remove a certain inning against Toronto.
