Jason Hammel will undergo MRI tomorrow. For now, little to no swelling.


It would be terrible to lose Hammel for the rest of the season.

Let's hope it's just scar tissue. That was my first thought last night when I saw him limping around the mound. I wasn't willing to EVEN consider any other possibilities.

Buck said he's going on West Coast trip and should pitch soon. I would move him to the bullpen and look at him as potentially our eighth inning guy if Strop continues to look shaky. It would save on wear and tear on his knee 8-)
