The Orioles are smart here. They are injecting the fanbase with some adrenaline which in return will do the same for the players (this is all in theory). Machado was just enough ready for this to not be ridiculous.

Great point. The yard will be packed tomorrow. Could get a lot more people going to the games. There is a lot of buzz right now -- both from the fan base and from my phone.

He should be fine at third. Might be a few kinks there at first but if you can play SS, you can play 3B.

Today was the first time that I have ever really had trouble with it. It is usually pretty reliable.

The O's games was the free game of the day yesterday. Unfortunate it couldn't have been for Machado's debut.

The only prospect debut I ever was able to see in person was Arrieta. Machado is going to be the first one that I don't get to watch either in person or on TV.

I just hope he doesn't feel pressure. If he can even equal his minor league numbers I will be impressed. A-Rod, Trout, and a lot of other young super prospects came up and initially struggled. Manny has to come up and play a position he has only played twice in his career. I just hope if he does struggle that nobody gets down on him. I wouldn't have called him up but DD has not failed yet.
