When was Orioles-Nation.com launched?
OriolesProspects.com was launched in November 2009, after a month of planning. The site was designed and developed by Jordan Tuwiner, a self-proclaimed baseball analyst and diehard Orioles fan. On September 6, 2010, OriolesProspects.com announced an expansion and became Orioles-Nation.

When were the forums launched?
The forums launched in May 2010.

Is Orioles-Nation.com one site?
Yes and no. Everything looks exactly the same, but the forums run separately from everything else, using the phpBB platform. The regular site runs on WordPress and uses the Arras Theme.

Main Site Questions

Why aren’t there up-to-date stats on the player pages?
The only real option to have up-to-date stats on the site is updating by hand. Obviously, I don’t have time to edit hundres of stat pages every day after every game. The easiest way to see updated stats when on a profile page is to click on the URL of the current year.

Are the scouting reports based on first hand observations?
Most of them are. I attend minor league spring training every year, where I can get good looks at nearly every player in the organization. I regularly attend games in Bowie, Frederick and the GCL. I have the ability to contact many of the players in the organization who provide scouting reports on themselves and/or their teammates. On top of that, I talk to a number of season tickets holder who give me their take on players. Don, or Director of Scouting, and also a scout for a National League team, also shares his take on players with me. Everything mentioned above is put together to create each individual report.
