I indeed do like Hader. Think he definitely has an opportunity to be a useful piece to the puzzle down the road. It will be interesting to see whether the Orioles keep him in the pen or shift to rotation.

I know you are a huge fan of Hader. Bernadina obviously won’t stick at Frederick for long. I guess they just wanted to give him a taste of the upper levels.

Big night for the OF in the org. Bernadina with the grand slam in his first game with Frederick, Avery and Bumbry both 4-5. Mummey with 2 hits and 3 SB. Ruettiger with a hit in his Bowie debut. Good to see. Also Josh Hader is racking up K's in the GCL. I think he will turn out to be a much better pick than people accounted for at the time. Just a hunch.

Guzman is definitely a future reliever IMO. His stuff would play well out of the bullpen.

Funny enough, I think Guzman is a future RP while Parry is a future SP. I’d like to see Guzman moved up to Delmarva soon (he’s 21 so the move is warranted). That would also allow Parry to move into the rotation at Aberdeen. I think they are just grooming him into the role though.

I simply don't get it..Well maybe i do...I had hoped that Duquette had come in here with the understanding he could make trades to help this club. A .250 depth IF trade? I liked the Thome acquisition, but its clear that ownership will not allow any true studs to be acquired.

Could probably help him improve his secondary pitches but I think right now the biggest concern is his command. So he's probably best in the 'pen.

Jose Nivar is slowly working up some innings. Big arm, would be curious to see him start. Which I don't personally think would work out, but would be an interesting experiment. It never hurts learning to pitch as a SP.

Great to see the rosters posted. Based on spring training, so far, and the minor league rosters we, Orioles fans, have a lot to look forward to this year and years to come. The minor league, for the O’s, have some real talent to be developed both in position players as well as pitchers. At the rate some of the Major League rosters are losing players, to injury, it would behoove the younger guys to be ready,both physically and mentally, for ” the call “. Buck has it going in the right direction and it will be process but it’s a better outlook than in years past. I ,as a fan of the O’s, am looking forward to watching this unfold and getting the O’s back to one of the top rated teams in baseball.
