The Orioles tonight announced that they have agreed to terms with RHP DYLAN BUNDY, their first selection in the 2011 First Year Player Draft, and the fourth overall pick of the draft. Bundy has been signed to a five-year major league contract beginning in 2012.

Bundy, 18, is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound right-handed pitcher from Sperry, OK. In his senior season at Owasso High School, he went 11-0 with a 0.20 ERA and 158 strikeouts and five walks in 71.0 innings. He also batted .467 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI. Scouted by Ernie Jacobs, Bundy was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year.

Bundy’s older brother, Bobby, was the Orioles’ eighth round selection in the 2008 draft and currently pitches for the Bowie Baysox.

The Orioles have also announced that they have agreed to terms with 3B JASON ESPOSITO, their second-round pick out of Vanderbilt University, and 3B/INF NICK DELMONICO, their sixth-round pick out of Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tennessee. Both were scouted by Adrian Dorsey.

The Orioles have agreed to terms with 42nd round pick Jason McCracken, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun.

McCracken’s contract is a 2012 deal which means he will not play in a game until next season.

O’s 6th round draft pick Nick Delmonico is expected to sign soon, according to Baseball America’s Aaron Fitt (Twitter).

Fitt was then asked to clarify whether Delmonico was signing with Georgia or the Orioles, and Fitt said: “With Orioles. In talks, getting close, sounds like.”

It is high unlikely that the Orioles sign 13th round pick Derek Jones, as he is set to return to Washington State, according to Kendall Rogers of PG.

Last night the Orioles signed eighth round draft pick Johnny Ruettiger, but terms of the deal were unknown.

Thanks to Jim Callis of Baseball America we now know that Ruettiger’s bonus was $160,000. Callis also notes that Ruettiger has “good speed & line drive bat, grittiness.”

The Orioles have agreed to terms with eighth round pick Johnny Ruettiger, according to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun. The terms of the deal are unknown at this time.

Ruettiger, 21, has above-average speed and is a solid defender in CF.

O’s 2011, 14th round draft pick Kevin Hockaday has decided not to sign and will head to the University of Maryland to play baseball, according to his Twitter.
