Orioles Select LHP Brian Gonzalez in 3rd Round (90th overall)

The Orioles have selected LHP Brian Gonzalez in the 3rd round (90th overall) of the 2014 MLB Draft.

Gonzalez, 18, was a two-way player that was committed to Miami.

Per a scout:

Gonzalez is a two-way guy that has tremendous power, but more feel on the mound. He is physically maxed out if I had to guess, but he should move fairly quick relative to your typical HS pitching prospect”
