Starting Pitcher of the Month – Juan Guzman
Guzman put up a sparkling 1.57 ERA in 28.2 July innings and posted just 6 walks and 35 strikeouts. He also earned himself a promotion to Delmarva yesterday.
Relief Pitcher of the Month – Chris Petrini
Petrini recently won our player of the week award. He posted 20 strikeouts and just 3 walks in 18.1 July innings with a 2.45 ERA.
